TOGETHER:

The Minority Moutain Bikers in the Heartland

About

Together: The Minority Mountain Bikers in the Heartland is a documentary about people of color thriving in an unexpected place—Arkansas—and finding community through mountain biking. Their unlikely allies came forward after being confronted on social media, transforming division and online hostility into friendship and understanding. As Northwest Arkansas became a premier mountain biking destination, the film follows riders from across the country as they reconcile long-held perceptions, build meaningful connections, and discover the power of belonging through cycling.

Purpose

Tell the story of the Minority Mountain Bikers and show how outdoor recreation can bring people together across cultural and geographic divides. While mountain biking has grown rapidly, many riders from underrepresented communities still struggle to find a sense of belonging. This documentary explores how one group used cycling to challenge perceptions, foster inclusion, and create a more welcoming outdoor community.

Impact

Together sparked meaningful conversations about diversity, inclusion, and belonging in outdoor recreation through film festival screenings and community events across the U.S. and Australia. The documentary helped audiences see how intentional community-building can create more welcoming spaces for everyone. The film screened at more than a dozen film festivals and received numerous awards, including multiple Best Film honors.

Trapped: Cash Bail in America Trailer

About

Every year, millions of Americans are incarcerated before even being convicted of a crime, all because they can't afford to post bail. How did we get here? Trapped: Cash Bail in America shines a light on America's deeply flawed cash bail system and the activists working to reform it. This documentary explores the growing movement to end the economic and racial inequities of cash bail while highlighting the lives impacted by an unjust system, the tireless campaigners fighting for criminal justice reform, and the powerful interests working to maintain the status quo.

Purpose

Create a documentary that reveals the human impact of pretrial detention and inspires meaningful conversations about criminal justice reform. Trapped: Cash Bail in America was the first film to show, in real time, how incarceration for nonviolent offenses affects families, employment, housing, and the children of those accused.

Impact

The documentary helped bring greater public awareness to the movement for cash bail reform as bipartisan support grew across the country. Several states, including Illinois, New Jersey, and California, have since reduced or eliminated the use of cash bail. The film has reached more than 2.8 million viewers and earned recognition on the film festival circuit.

The Big Impossible Idea: Vision 2025

About

Vision 2025, a global Bible translation initiative, set a big audacious goal in 1999 that completely reimagined the way Bible translation work would get done, who would do it, and how long it would take to reach the world.

Problem

What happens when you cast a vision so big that it seems impossible? Vision 2025 needed a documentary film that would tell the story of its 25-year journey and inspire a new generation to pursue the bold, mission-driven goal.

Solution

We produced a nonprofit documentary film that captured the origins, challenges, and breakthroughs of Vision 2025, revealing how a shared mission united organizations around a common purpose.

Value Added

The film became a powerful nonprofit storytelling tool that inspired audiences, strengthened collaboration across partner organizations, and reinforced the lasting impact of a shared global mission.
